A Note from our director Gwyn Stetler
On Community Building
As I have said in the past, growing up, mom was the church
pianist/organist from the age of 9 to 40. Dad led the singing. That meant they were always up front and entrusted others to our care. This was my first real experience of being "held in Community." When I have provided pastoral care or counseling with people in difficult situations, I often say
"we need to build a table with many legs. If we have only one leg of support, things can be pretty wobbly" Here at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center, we strive to be real in our care. Recently, the Logan County Commissioners invested in us and our center in a very real way choosing to invest in us. They decided to put the director's position on
their payroll. This demonstrates a creative and intentional commitment to us and our well-being. Thanks to Commissioner's Antram, Yoder and Fitzpatrick for making our big community table even more sturdy. We are grateful!

Volunteers Needed
The FSC is always looking for volunteers to help in the kitchen and at Frday night Bingo. If you have questions or would like to sign up, contact Sue in the office at 937-593-1511.
Kitchen help is needed Mon, Wed, and Fri preparing, serving, and cleaning up lunch meal from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
FM riday night Bingo utilizes volunteers to help serve in the kitchen and to assist with ticket sales 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
